Coaching ES Teachers How to Integrate CT and CS without Adding More Obstacles to an already “Busy” Terrain

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Seven Instructional Facilitators of Computer Science (IFCS) support all 58 Elementary Schools in Loudoun County Public Schools by coaching teachers in grades K-5 how to integrate Computer Science SOLs, providing them with an integrated Computer Science curriculum that meets teachers where they are at, and supporting a division wide CS equipment model that supports the tenets of the LCPS Profile of a Graduate.

This session will provide attendees with the roadmap for coaching CT and CS, curriculum resources, and a review of the equipment model that they can take back to their school divisions. We will also work to help attendees establish their own roadmap/entry points during this session.

Presented by the Loudoun County Public Schools Computer Science Office - Abby Spessard, Kathy Nekic, Jill Buss, Susan Journell, Amy Stelly, and Shawn DeLuca.

*This session is being offered twice.
