Robert Marple, Principal, and Michelle Nyhuis, Instructional Facilitator of Technology and former Classroom Teacher, share their passion for supporting teachers in their effort to enhance student engagement, student agency, and provide joyful learning opportunities through the implementation of Genius Hour/Passion Projects. Through the implementation of this initiative, classrooms come alive with passion as students take ownership in their learning and use a wide variety of tools to research topics of personal interest, collaborate with experts in various fields, and present to an audience beyond the classroom.
