Adaptable strategies for providing quality assessments, tried, tested, and presented to you by a Language Arts teacher and an Instructional Technology Coach. Participants will learn how to unpack Virginia state standards in order to choose an engaging assessment strategy for their learners, and then find a variety of tools for student-led quality assessments that align with our standards. We'll share our successes with technology-based strategies in real secondary classrooms and how they can be adapted for elementary as well. This session will also provide a variety of tools and materials for future use, including resources for implementing learned strategies in their own school(s).
